TYCHE

Tyche FAQ

Tyche is an autonomous career agent that finds relevant roles and prepares applications and outreach for your review. It is free during the private beta; future pricing TBD. Tyche Companion uses your existing AI subscription and runs on your Mac while it is awake. You approve every application and message before anything is submitted or sent.

What is Tyche?

Tyche finds roles worth your time, prepares your applications, and leaves the decisions to you. It uses your experience, preferences, and constraints to look beyond job titles. You get a shortlist with reasons a role fits and questions to consider, rather than just a list of matches to work through.

How much does Tyche cost?

Free during the private beta. Future pricing TBD. Companion is the full Tyche product, not a limited free tier. It includes the complete job-search workflow and career context that grows with you. Tyche Cloud is coming soon, and its price has not been set. See Tyche pricing.

Do I need my own AI subscription for Tyche?

Yes. Tyche Companion uses your existing AI subscription. You keep paying your AI provider as normal; Tyche does not charge you for using that subscription during the beta. The free private beta refers to Tyche, not to the cost of your separate AI subscription. Companion runs the full Tyche product on your Mac.

Does Tyche apply to jobs automatically?

No. Tyche prepares applications, but nothing is submitted or sent without your approval, every time. Messages also wait for your approval. Tyche finds a relevant contact and drafts a note with a reason; you decide whether it goes. You can approve or decline each application and message.

Where does Tyche look for jobs?

Tyche searches across career pages, job boards, and niche sources through your experience, preferences, and constraints. It looks beyond the job title. The shortlist explains why a role fits and what to question, with uncertainty shown. Its fit guide covers experience, seniority, compensation, and location, including where those details are unknown.

Will Tyche make things up on my resume?

No. Tyche builds your application from your career context, in your words. Your facts are never invented. A missing number becomes a question, never a guess. Review the draft against your own experience before approving it. Your motivations, values, and ambitions are yours to answer, rather than blanks for Tyche to fill in.

Does Tyche run on Mac, and must my computer stay on?

Tyche Companion runs the full product on your Mac while your Mac is awake. Tyche Cloud, coming soon, keeps working when your computer is off. Cloud offers the same complete job-search workflow without leaving your laptop on, with premium sources where available. Its price has not been set.

Is my data private with Tyche?

Tyche does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be disclosed to service providers or an AI provider you authorize through Companion; see the privacy policy for details on processing, retention, and your rights.

Can companies pay to appear in my Tyche shortlist?

No. Matches cannot be bought. Your shortlist follows your interests, not a company's payment. Tyche gives you reasons to consider a role and the catch to question before you commit. You decide whether a role is worth pursuing based on that assessment and what matters to you.

How do I get access to Tyche?

Join the waitlist; we're opening Tyche in small cohorts. The waitlist is for product updates and a private-beta invitation. Admitted users receive an access code. While you wait, see how Tyche works, from sharing your career context to reviewing the shortlist, applications, and outreach drafts.
